Apparently the decision has been made, and the government has chosen to burry the Alaskan Way viaduct .  Starting from Qwest Field, the new $4.25 billion tunnel is to be constructed under 1st Avenue and exit just a little further north than it currently does.  We would expect those who have purchased at The Florentine, Merrill Place, Our Home Hotel, Hillclimb Court, The Fix, and most of all; The Pomeroy to surely be excited about the plans to unblock their views and significantly reduce the noise.  This could also be really good news for other projects such as Site 17…

this should also help our property values as well. all the additional foot traffic and reduction of the noise factor should make the market area even more desirable.
