Before the LEED certification was a common expectation, Seattle Heights was one of the first to use it’s energy efficiency as a way to attract buyers and earned an award for Energy Smart Design by Seattle City Light. At the time, Seattle Heights’ Integrated Comfort system for air conditioning, heating and ventilation was state-of-the-art for having an energy efficient system which was reported as 23% more energy efficient than local building codes required. Today, the 25-story tower has been improved even further with exterior sound and storm proofing as well as a redesigned grand lobby which makes homeowners raving fans of their building.
