Four Seasons Announces Executive Chef

Starting at $1,000, this chef’s current restaurant offers an opportunity to design a custom menu based on your ideas. Your fee also includes time spent in the kitchen working side-by-side with the kitchen staff in creating your five-course meal. After digging even further, I found another creative and fun way he shares his passion with others by hosting Pike Place Market tours, followed by a three-course cooking demonstration and lunch for only $75. Taking on the position of Executive Chef, Chef Kerry Sear (owner of Cascadia Restaurant in Belltown), will also take on the responsibility of the Four Seasons food and beverage operations. A solid acquisition for the Four Seasons.
The market tours sound fun and offered at a bargain price. Hopefully the new position won’t keep him too busy that he won’t be able to offer them again this summer, or the next.

We would love to hear about any dining experiences from anyone who has visited Cascadia Restaurant. If you’ve dined there, had a private dining party or gone on one of his market tours, please post a comment and share your experience.

The cooking demonstration and lunch seems like a really, really awesome deal… and I’ve always loved the market. I think I’ll do it.
Do you know the exact date this starts?
Kerry had this to say about his tours:
“We will be quite busy in the coming months so I haven’t announced any 2008 tours. But next year I expect to get back in the saddle for a full schedule. It will be nice to be even closer to Pike Place Market!”
